Jasmine began playing tennis when she was 6 coached by Victor Roubanov who, amongst training many successful junior players, coached Anna Kournikova and Marcus Willis.

Her passion for the sport was clearly evident by the age of 8 nominated for the LTA’s Talent ID programme and quickly progressed to the LTA’s AEGON Future Stars that focused on the long term development of the UK’s top young tennis players.

At the age of 11 Jasmine was already competing in prestigious events such as 14U Category 1 Tennis Europe Antonio Hernandez Cup 2016. Held at the Sanchez-Casal academy in Barcelona Jasmine was also able to enjoy the great training facilities which have assisted the likes of Andy Murray, Johana Konta, Garbine Muguruza, Giles Muller and Grigor Dimitrov to name but a few.

A successful end to the 2017 National Summer Season saw Jasmine achieve No. 1 GB ranking in her 12U age group becoming Scottish Junior Open Champion along the way. In recognition to her achievements during the year Jasmine received the GLL Sport Foundation award.

Entering the 2017/18 Winter Season and just turning 13 Jasmine was able to compete in the 18U Winter National Tour whilst maintaining her top ranking status and qualifying for the 16U Nike Winter National Tour Finals. A great testimony to her strength and passion being the youngest entrant, reaching GB No. 6 in the 16U Winter National Tour and ending the season as GB No. 14 in her 14U National age group.

2018 marked a major stepping-stone for Jasmine as she entered the ITF Junior circuit. She didn’t disappoint, in her first tournament at the Nottingham Junior International 2018 we saw her qualify to the main draw reaching the third round after a total of five successive matches. Competing around Europe, although being restricted to only 10 tournaments in her first year Jasmine quickly progressed to becoming the highest placed GB player in her age group, reaching 595 in the world, aged 13!

Great start to 2019, in April Jasmine became the highest ITF ranked 14U GB Junior, achieving an 18U International Federation ranking of 329 and winning her first ITF singles title along the way.

The end of 2019 marks the continued development of Jasmine’s tennis winning her first Women’s Singles British Tour tournament at the age of 15! Now ready to enter 2020 continuing on the road to the Pro series!

A great and exiting journey which we hope you will enjoy with us.
